LIVE BY FAITH

Bible Reading: Habakkuk 2
"See, he is puffed up; his desires are not upright ó but the righteous will live by his faith" Habakkuk 2:4

Those who choose to live their life proud and unjust, will one day reap their reward, but the challenge to all those who follow Christ is to live by faith.

What is living by faith? Is it relying on God to supply finances? Is it believing that God will do a miracle of healing in our lives? Living by faith is far more than just a one-off event. It is about a lifestyle that is grounded in the Word. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God and so we live a life of faith by living out the Word of God. It requires trusting every Word that God has spoken and believing everything He has said. Many times it will stretch us far beyond what we thought was possible and cause us to embark on journeys we have never even considered. To live by faith is to journey with God on an adventure that He has planned. It is a life destined to be great and purposed to change lives for Christ.

"Father, I ask for Your strength to help me as I strive to live by faith, placing Your Word in action and trusting all You say. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
