JOINED WITH THE LORD

Bible Reading: Zechariah 2
"Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you." Zechariah 2:11

Here the prophet prophesies of a time when many nations will join together as the Lord's people to worship Him, and He will dwell among them.

Today by the powerful work that Jesus did on the cross, we have access to join together with other Christ-followers to worship the Lord as one people. We are privileged to be able to have a relationship with the Lord and we are blessed to have His Spirit dwelling within us, leading us and guiding us in truth and righteousness. We must never take forgranted how incredibly blessed we are to live in a time when the Lord's grace is so abundant. Let us therefore fervantly devote ourselves to yielding to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and allow Him to change and transform our lives so that we will be beacons of light to all the world. Let us unite our hearts with the purposes of God, availing ourselves to be used to draw many others into fellowship with Christ.

"Father, what a privilege it is for me to be able to be a part of Your body! I cherish this honour and I devote my life to Your purposes. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
