LORD OF THE RAIN

Bible Reading: Zechariah 10
"Ask the LORD for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who makes the storm clouds. He gives showers of rain to men, and plants of the field to everyone." Zechariah 10:1

The people are challenged to seek the Lord for their daily provision. They are reminded that all things come from the Lord and He is the one that is able to bless them with all that they need.

We need to understand that God's Word is the same yesterday, today and forever. What He reminded and promised the people so long ago, still applies today. He is still the one who provides the rain and He is still the one who causes the things in our life to grow and flourish. He is the one who causes us to be fruitful and only in Him can we truly bear good fruit. If we look to the Lord as our provider, we will find ourselves truly satisfied, for He is able to bless us beyond our wildest dreams. Therefore let us remain in Christ and allow the nutrients of His Word to flow through our lives so that all the work of our hands will be fruitful and glorify the Lord. Let us continually walk with Him and stay on the righteous path so that we will continue to receive the blessings of God.

"Father, as I remain in You, let Your Word take root in my life and cause the work of my hands to flourish for Your glory. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
